The Arc of Mercer County Foundation was established in 1996 to raise money from the community to support MCAR, Inc. in its mission to provide quality, comprehensive services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Contributions to The Arc of Mercer County Foundation allow MCAR to provide services that may not be financed by traditional funding sources. When needs or projects at MCAR arise, they can be funded by the Foundation on an as-needed basis. Gifts to the Foundation allow us to continue to provide services to individuals whose funding may be decreased, to buy special equipment for an individual or for group homes, and to help provide jobs to over 200 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

By supporting The Arc of Mercer County Foundation with a contribution, no matter what size, donors become a part of a group of people who truly are making a difference in the community.

Memorial  and Celebration Contributions
Many people make contributions to The Arc of Mercer County Foundation in memory of a loved one or in recognition of a special event, such as a birthday or anniversary, in the life of an individual.
