Our family supports assist families, caregivers, and individuals with intellectual and developmental
disabilities, including autism. These services provide aides to help individuals with their daily living activities
and promote community inclusion. For many individuals, this help means they can maintain their independence and
remain in their own homes.
For other individuals, we arrange companion services. These aides provide opportunities to socialize.
Individuals can enjoy going out in the community, going shopping or out to dinner, and enjoying other recreational

As a service to our individuals, Life Sharing families, and the families of the
individuals we serve, MCAR has a dispensing pharmacy onsite in our Pre-Vocation
building. MCAR is the only service provider in Mercer County to provide this service.
We also provide valuable information for families and caregivers. We serve as a resource on guardianship, planned giving, special needs trusts,
and other ways to protect an individual’s financial assets.
