In Mercer County, one in every 15 households includes a child or adult who has an intellectual or developmental
disability. Chances are you know someone or are related to a person with special needs. You recognize the daily
challenges faced by people with a disability or a family caring for a child with disabilities. And you understand
that these struggles last a lifetime.
Our mission is to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and their
caregivers. You can play an important role in this mission. Your charitable contribution to The Arc of Mercer
County Foundation helps ensure that we can continue to provide services that improve the quality of life for people
with special needs.
You can make your contribution in countless ways, including:
- donate by mail
- send a remembrance of a loved one
- honor a special occasion or person
- include The Arc in your will
- name The Arc as a life insurance beneficiary
- become a sponsor of one of our fundraising events
- donate real estate
- specify a program for a grant
- provide us with in-kind services and products.
Honorary, memorial, and other monetary gifts can be made by check or money order, payable to The Arc of Mercer
County Foundation, and sent to the address below. Please be sure to indicate the name of the person in whose name
you are making a gift. In the case of memorial donations, please also include the name and address of any survivor
